What is the EIP “Pollution in Europe”?
“Pollution in Europe” is a series of highly successful Erasmus Intensive Program (EIP) on polluted area management initiated by the ISA group in 1999 in Lille (France). Since then an EIP was held every year in various European locations (Estonia, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Poland) (See previous EIP) . This EIP network involves 14 universities from 8 different countries (see Partners).
The main theme of this fourteenth session will be “Pollution in Europe: Sustainable management of polluted areas“.
Why join us?

« Pollution in Europe » is dedicated to the students involved in several master degrees specialized in environmental sciences and water and soil management. The objectives of this program are to promote, in a global European vision, the key concepts, methodologies, tools and good practices which are essential for a sustainable management of polluted areas. Today, the problems related to contaminated sites are more and more complex and must be analysed in a global way and with the right tools. The sophistication of the situations imposes to reconsider the way of working: new practices, new tools, new technologies, new ways of collaboration.

It is a unique opportunity for European students, Professors and experts to share their various visions of the management of polluted soils, to exchange ideas on the different national policies and practices, to run international group works and to acquire a wider knowledge of these environmental aspects.
